Karl Marx , (1818 - 1883)
Social philosopher and founder of international communism, born in Trier, W Germany. The boy of a Jewish lawyer, he studied decree at Bonn and Berlin, but took spread philosophy, particularly Hegelian philosophy, and Feuerbach's materialism.
